The manager of American rapper and actor T.I. has been slapped with a 19 thousand dollar fine for possession of marijuana by Scarborough Magistrate Brian Debideen. Cortez Thomas spent the weekend in the Tobago jail after being charged by the Crown Point police on Sunday 29th July, 2018 who were carrying out a road block exercise outside the Pigeon Point Heritage Park where T.I performed for Tobago’s Great Fete event over the weekend . HE was held with a small container of marijuana which he stated would usually be a USD$75.00 ticket in the US without imprisonment. Tobagonian events coordinator and driver of Thomas, Orlando Phillip was also charged $2000.00 for having marijuana in the vehichle. Thomas stated Trinidad & Tobago is moving too slowly to decriminalize marijuana.
